Mikayla Miller

  • Mikayla embarked on her rugby journey in 2006, where she discovered the Burnsville Girls Rugby Club. Excelling on the field with the University of Minnesota and the Twin Cities Amazons, she seamlessly transitioned into coaching and administrative roles. Now, as President, Mikayla brings her extensive experience and leadership to the Amazons, contributing to the Amazons growth and success at every level.

Lindsey Reed Haller

  • Lindsey's rugby journey kicked off in 2011 with UW Eau Claire Women's Rugby Club, driven by a love for a bit of rough and tumble. Lindsey also showcased her skills in American football, awarded ‘MN Minx American Football Rookie’ of the Year in 2022. From 2015-2017 Linsdey served on the Amazons board as a marketing wizard. With a knack for marketing and communications, Lindsey's well-equipped for her role as Vice President.

Anna Bavery-Lundstrum

  • Anna started playing rugby in 2010 at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, where she discovered her passion for the sport at the Blugold Organization Bash. She captained both the university and Wisconsin U23 teams, showcasing her leadership. Transitioning to coaching, she has been an Assistant Coach for the Wisconsin U23 program since 2014. Now serving as Secretary, Anna brings her experience and enthusiasm to further enrich the rugby community.

Treasurer
Kim O’Brien

  • Kim's rugby journey began in 1985 at the State University of New York at Cortland, where she initially watched friends play. She went on to captain the Twin Cities Amazons for numerous years and served as Assistant Coach from 2010 to 2020. Kim's financial acumen also benefited the rugby community, as she held the Treasurer position from 1993 to 2022, ensuring stability and growth. Her leadership and dedication remain invaluable assets to the sport.

Mara Maus

  • Mara started rugby in 2015 with the Montana State Women’s Rugby Club. Inspired by a chance encounter at a college fair, Mara embraced the sport wholeheartedly. Her accolades include winning the Consolation Championship at 7’s College Nationals in 2016 and clinching the 15’s conference title three consecutive years. As a former club treasurer, Mara brings both passion and organizational prowess to her role as Match Secretary for the Twin Cities Amazons, ensuring smooth game days for her team.

Emma Frey

  • Emma discovered rugby in her second year at the University of Northern Iowa. Introduced by a friend who knew her love for sports, Emma joined to explore something new and build friendships. Playing at UNI from 2016-2018 and with the Amazons, St. Louis Sabres, and back with the Amazons since 2021, Emma's commitment extends off the field. Having served roles like Social Media and Events Planner at UNI and as the Amazons' Social Coordinator and Fundraising Chair since 2021, Emma brings versatile skills and dedication to elevate our fundraising efforts.

Marketing Director
Chloe Thomas

  • Chloe’s passion for rugby started in 2012 at Armstrong High School. Encouraged by a friend's invitation to experience the sport, Chloe embraced rugby wholeheartedly. Playing for teams like Armstrong High School, Minnesota Tundra Selects, and the Amazons, Chloe has honed her skills on the field. Now, as our Marketing and Communications Director, Chloe eagerly anticipates leveraging her creativity to bolster the Amazons' success.

Meghan ‘Flan’ Flannigan

  • Flan started rugby in 2010, having just transferred from a smaller college where she played softball, Flan sought a new challenge. Browsing the school website for club sports, she discovered rugby, attended her first practice, and never looked back. Flan has played for for UNI, U23 Iowa Selects, and the Twin Cities Amazons, Flan's leadership earned her accolades such as the "Heart of the Game" award in 2013 and induction into the Iowa Rugby Hall of Fame in 2023. Now our At-Large Member Flan contributes her experience and dedication to the Amazons.
